Coach Gaona is a proud alumnus of Frisco High School, where he played varsity soccer for all four years and competed in club soccer for five years. After graduating in 2006, he earned an Associate of Science degree from Collin College and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Texas Woman’s University.
Coach Gaona began his educational career at Frisco High School, where he coached the JV2 boys soccer team for five years. Now, he is excited to rejoin the coaching staff, working with the 9th Grade/JV2 boys team. In addition to coaching, he teaches eSports and 3D Modeling & Animation at FHS.
Before entering education, Coach Gaona worked as a photographer and graphic designer. Outside of school, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Brenda, and their four daughters—Eva, Luna, Emma, and Lexi—who stay active in volleyball, gymnastics, and soccer.
Coach Gaona is passionate about fostering growth and teamwork both on and off the field and is thrilled to continue serving the FHS community.
